Terms of Hire
Pre-launch reference version
These terms outline the basis on which Sterling Event Solutions supplies hire equipment, custom fabrication, transport, labour, and associated event services.
Quotes and availability
All quotes are subject to stock availability, logistics review, final scope confirmation, and written acceptance. Draft quotes generated from the website or spreadsheet upload tools are indicative until reviewed by operations.
Deposits and payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, bookings are only secured once the required deposit has been paid. Remaining balances must be paid according to the schedule shown on the approved quote or invoice.
Delivery, installation, and collection
Delivery windows, venue access constraints, induction requirements, permits, loading dock rules, and labour assumptions must be disclosed before confirmation. Additional charges may apply where site conditions differ from the approved brief.
Loss, damage, and responsibility
The client is responsible for hired items from delivery until collection, fair wear and tear excepted. Loss, theft, misuse, or damage may result in repair or replacement charges.
Cancellations and changes
Late reductions, date moves, or cancellations can affect pricing, staffing, and stock commitments. Sterling reserves the right to charge reasonable costs already incurred or committed on the client’s behalf.
Custom items and special production
Custom fabrication, signage, branded assets, and made-to-order elements may have non-refundable production components once approved for manufacture.
